Seven Churches in South Oxfordshire

From the Rector: Tuesday 20th April 2021

Dear friends

The funeral of HRH Prince Phillip gave pause for thought over the weekend. In a year when almost everyone has been touched by loss of one kind or another we offer our prayers and condolences to HM the Queen and her family, in gratitude for the Duke of Edinburgh’s lifelong service and commitment to not only her Majesty, but also this country and the commonwealth.

The service also highlighted the restrictions live worship still has to operate under; low numbers, social distancing, minimum participation,  mask wearing, brevity, fresh air. We wait to see if any of these will be relaxed at the next milestone on the Government road map, which is on 17th of May.

Spring Sunshine

You may remember I planted various bulbs back in the autumn. Here are some of them now;

It is hard not to feel joyful when confronted by beautiful spring flowers. They bring praise into every day without uttering a word.

The Lord bless you and keep you in his love.

Revd Kevin
