Please remember in your prayers Tessa Merson and Daniel Terzino, to be married at Checkendon this coming Saturday. Also Jack Rowling and Rupert Poynter, to be baptised next Sunday. We give thanks for the life of Caroline Chojecki, whose funeral was last Wednesday.

Some advance notice that our next Team Service will be held on Sunday 29th October at 10.30am, at St Mary’s North Stoke. It is a fifth Sunday, and so there will be no other main morning services around the Team on that day. Please do come along to North Stoke, offering lifts or car sharing, for a wonderful chance to get together as God’s people in our area to praise and celebrate God’s goodness and love for us all in Jesus Christ.

Members of Stoke Row PCC are reminded that our next meeting is on Wed 18th October at 7.30pm at Mrs Clarke’s house. For those of you who are interested in local craft, and particularly woodworking, look out for the lecture evening in November being given by Phillip Koomen. Philip’s local workshop is nationally renowned for stunning design and sympathetic craftsmanship in local materials. More details to follow.
