A very warm welcome to our Carol Services, being held today right across the Team Ministry. As Christmas draws near, may the love of God in Jesus Christ be welcomed afresh into each of our hearts this season.

You will find details of our Christmas and other services elsewhere on this sheet. Please do come along to share in the wonder of it all.

I am delighted to announce that our brand new Langtree Churches website is going to be “live” from Monday 21st December (fingers crossed). Please “Bookmark” the address as one of your “favourites” once we publish the website address. You’ll be able to find service details, sermons, links to all our local and national church sites as well as contact details for all the staff and lots of useful information about baptisms weddings and funerals to boot. We owe a huge debt of thanks to Gillian Goldsmith, our site developer, who has worked extremely hard to put the site together, which with seven churches to cater for is not at all straightforward. The site itself is part of our attempt as Churches to “put ourselves out there” and along with our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/langtreechurches) and Twitter feed (@RedKite) is an important strand in being available for everyone in our parishes, not just those who share in the worship or events that we offer.

Finally, the Sunday after Christmas (27th Dec) has our Team Service at Whitchurch on Thames, at 10.30am, led by Revd Claire Alcock. Claire, together with myself and the rest of the ministry team across our churches join together in wishing you all a very happy Christmas, and a joyful New Year.
