Our prayers are requested for everyone in the Goring benefice tomorrow evening, as the Revd Ben Philips is instituted as their new Rector. Please pray for Bishop Colin, Archdeacon Judy, Area Dean Linda, and everyone who will be involved in that special service.

On Friday we look forward to a fascinating insight into the world of professional tennis, with John Beddington sharing some of his memories and photographs at Checkendon Village Hall from 7.45pm. The last few tickets (£10) can be ordered from Sue Endacott on 0118 984 3858.

Our key text to have a go at learning off by heart for this week is the Lord’s Prayer. Why not test yourself to see how well you really know this vital anchor for our spiritual lives?
